About

I came to my first yoga class in 2010 seeking a physical practice that complimented my treatment plan to heal a lower back injury. Upon making a full recovery in 2012, I deepened my exploration of Hatha yoga and through dedicated practice, became inspired to study yoga’s vast tradition and share it with the community. As a registered Yoga Alliance®  (RYT®200) member and having achieved my 250-hour yoga instructor certification from MokSana Yoga Center in 2015, I aim to facilitate a space for you to cultivate a mindful yoga practice that is both empowering and transformative.

In addition to teaching vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga on the mat and in the water, I have had the privilege of volunteering in the community to lead adapted yoga classes for individuals with neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury at MOVE Adapted Fitness. Additionally, I have assisted and shadowed Sam Goski, a registered physiotherapist and yoga instructor in offering group therapeutic yoga classes as an alternative form of rehabilitation for individuals recovering from physical illness and injury at Yew Tree Yoga. It is an honour to practice yoga with so many inspiring individuals, who continually motivate me to become a better teacher. I look forward to seeing you on the mat!

Namaste,
